Our history
Tekno was founded in 1988 by Tom Clopton and currently employs 50 engineering and manufacturing professionals. With current owner Trevor Clopton as the second generation of the Clopton family, and a 34-year veteran and shareholder of the company, Tekno remains a 100% family-owned business!
In 2022 Tony Deye joined Tekno as CEO, bringing 30+ years of leadership experience in the manufacturing sector and a bright vision for the future of the company.
Our customer base ranges from local businesses just a few miles away, to Fortune 500 corporations and international conglomerates situated around the globe. We are not an integrator of someone else’s product but rather design and manufacture our own product. Innovation has been constant throughout Tekno’s 35+ years, as evidenced by our 13 patents and introduction of revolutionary products and systems.
We have built a strong reputation through our customizable solutions to industrial manufacturing needs, resulting in reduced production costs and greater workflow effectiveness. We are proud of our system of solutions and our team of expert engineers, programmers, and technicians who are each dedicated to providing you with the best solution for your unique product needs.
