Lift and Locate unit provides more precision than a standard station stop by utilizing hardened tapered pins which interface with hardened bushings on the pallets. These units can also be utilized to isolate the pallet and part from the conveyor for testing or assembly purposes.
The unit is designed to be installed from the top of the conveyor without requiring any modification. The lifting action of each lift and locate unit is accomplished with a pneumatic actuator (airbag or cylinder). It is also completely independent of the conveyor system to allow greater calibration and accuracy.
These are designed to go with the conveyor systems that handle 0-2500 lbs of product. Standard applications for pallet sizes range from 12 to 96 inches, but can be customized for more robust needs.
